On the Road

Church on the Road

Consider joining in a short-term mission team, praying specifically for missions, and financial support of organizations such as SPAN.

A team with several Americans, Ugandans, Ethiopians and even some of the Japanese persuasion just returned from a 21 day church multiplication trip to Uganda and Ethiopia. Read Jonathan’s Reflections on this trip in blog posting from today (July 14, 2009).

A series of Crusade events were just completed in the Luzon province in Philippines. From June 23 through July 3 crusades were held in ten barangays (villages),and included visits to local prisons, schools, hospitals, police, and even a mayor’s office. Thousands heard teh gospel, and many were saved. The detailed report on results will arrive soon.

A team to Uganda and Ethiopia returned in June, and a team that went to Haiti just returned. Look for news on the Uganda and Ethiopia trips on the country pages for each at the new CMC International website www.4cmcinternational.org. Report on the Haiti trip will also be available on that site soon.

Another team just returned from the Philippines in November, at which nearly 1000 people accepted Christ, and over 35 new Bible studies and one new church were started.

In January, the first Africa Continent Conference will be held in Kampala, followed by the launch of CMC Ethiopia with a national conference in Addis Ababa and their first three crusades in the Herar region!
